The oral health giants Dentsply Sirona, Henry Schein and Envista Holdings all showed strong signs of recovery in their fourth-quarter results for 2020. BASEL, Switzerland: Now that the first half of 2020 is over, the Straumann Group has reported that the SARS-CoV-2 crisis has reduced its revenue by 22% to CHF 605 million (€562 million), compared with the first half of 2019. Dental practices closed in many parts of the world, and business declined drastically in mid-March, reaching a trough in April. When lockdown measures began to ease and dental practices reopened, sales began to climb in May, and this trend continued through June. Whereas the pandemic hit all markets, the extent of the impact varied in different regions.
